RATs!

RAT series is probably one of the best known hair winged salmon flies. They were created by Roy Angus Thomson from whose initials the name comes from. These are my own color variations of the RATs. There is an original Red RAT but the recipe differs from pictured quite a lot. You can find the original patterns in Joseph Bates’ Atlantic Salmon Flies & Fishing, and probably in many other books as well.
