Teno 8
This pattern features a bold embossed silver body. I usually use UNI Embossed tinsel as it has pretty distinct embossing. It’s also one of three patterns in the series that doesn’t have a topping over the wing. Teno 8 is a nice simple pattern that should fool salmon in most parts of the world.
Tip: Silver wire.
Tag: Red floss.
Tail: Golden Pheasant crest.
Butt: Black Ostrich herl.
Rib: Oval silver tinsel.
Body: Embossed silver tinsel.
Hackle: Red.
Wing: Golden Pheasant with Bronze Mallard on top.
Sides: Teal.
Cheeks: Jungle cock (optional).
Horns: Red Macaw or Swan.
Head: Black.
