Mikael Frödin
Now that we got started on the guest fly tyers and tube flies I’d suppose it’s only fair to give the stage to one of the innovative tyers behind the style. Here’s some photos from Sunday at Helsinki Spey Clave where Mikael Frödin was doing a fly tying class.
The class seemed very excited to have a chance to learn from the master of Scandinavian style tube flies and I’m sure the day filled their expectations. Mikael is strict but still very easy to approach as a teacher and the flies I saw were great even though some of the guys had not been tying for long.
